Though hes not in his prime anymore, he is still logging alot of ice time and not embarrassing himself while doing so, he probably has one more year in him after this one.

Who has told that I do not love him? He is great player. I love it at least that he plays Detroit. Nobody can argue with it. I hope =)

Absolutely not! His performance is still excellent.
He's proving what I've always thought. That if a guy wants to he can play much longer than the accepted 38-40. It has to do with still having the desire to play and keeping in top physical condition.
As a side note, he has said that he won't play longer than Howe because he would not want to take that record from him. How can you not love Chelios.

Hes doing pretty good at age 45 so give him some credit playing against players with a lot of speed he has definately adapted to the new nhl.

He may be 45 but he's still doing real well. Maybe an ordinary player would be too old, but Chelios isn't!

Jbraiter, this isn't MSN. If you're going to say "too" then write "too", not 2.

Power to Chelios.

CANUCKS RULE!!
leigh Posted - 02/19/2007 : 19:07:38
he brings it every game and he's in incredible shape. He does his job so I say keep playing. I'd like to see him hit 50 and keep playing.

He may be old but he certinly isn't old enough to stop playing in the NHL.
He still has a few good seaons left in him

He isnt struggling and is doing alright so people should give a lot of respect to him.

P.S: He is 45!
