A big thank-you to the web-site managers of pickuphockey.com here, who have saved me a tonne of time by adding a certain feature in their pool set-up.

Added this year was the option for each poolie's team to keep a certain number of the best at each position on the team. Like in my pool, we have 6 keepers each, and draft to fill out a 25 man team, of which only the top 12 forwards, 6 defencemen, and 2 goalies count towards the total.

I had configured it that way as a hedge against injuries or disasterous years, but last year had a lot of extra math on the side to do, and everyone checking the website didn't get the real "adjusted" standings - now, they will.

So, a big shout out to my mates here!

THANK-YOU, PICKUPHOCKEY!

Oh - I almost forgot! Please post here to give thanks to the site for any other positive additions made, or to give any other props to how they do things here.

Everyone could always use a pat on the back, eh? And who better to give that to, than a totally free website.

"Take off, eh?" - Bob and Doug
