As of 2011-12-14 the Northeast has 3 of 5 teams in a playoff spot and the habs tied for a playoff spot but with 1 extra game played and the sens only 1 point out of a playoff spot. How many team will represent the Northeast division in 2012 post season and who will miss the show?

Bruins
Leafs
Sens
Montreal has no chance this year and Buffalo dosent look good either. Sens are having a pretty good year so possibily. Bruins and Leafs for sure tho

Very close Division certainly and It is really anyones game for who makes it. All five teams seem to be doing everything right at the moment, so I think it is going to come down to the last month or so for the bottom few teams. There is little margin for error in the NE, and if you are in a losing streak in the final stretch of the season, you will not make it in.

I don't think all 5 teams will make it. Buffalo has been inconsistent but I am sure they will prevail, Toronto seems to be the real deal, and Boston is a lock up. So I think it is down to Ottawa and Montreal. I would love to see the Sens make it over the Habs, but it is really anyones game!
