Which goalie would you build a franchise around?

That would be quite a large chunk of your payroll being put towards goaltending. Maybe Burke should try going with 6 No. 1 goalies next year.

The Oil WILL make the playoffs in 2013.

I chose other as I think Rask has paid his dues, has been brought along slowly and is very solid in all of his outings. Combined with his age and skill, he will be a force to come.

There wouldn't be any bias involved in that pick would there Tox?

Absolutely! I won't deny

Lol, while he wouldn't be my pick, you sure as hell could do worse! Will be fun to watch and see how good he becomes when he finally gets the net back from Thomas.

This would be like me picking Leland Irving

I would pick Lundqvist over anyone, except for the fact of his age. If I'm rebuilding a team I would pick Price or Quick, and I chose Quick. He is slightly more dynamic than Price in my opinion. Price is good, but he blocks too much, and Quick has better tracking. Blocking is out, tracking is in goalies.....time to move on.

i picked jonathan Quick. this has the force working for him. remember that one time that puck was going in and then change direction completely. that was jedi mind powers!! not to mention the guys is a very reliable goalie.!!

Despite him being older, I still picked Lundqvist over Price. I just think he has a slight edge in terms of playoff experience and what he has shown us he can do there.

But it's really so close between those two for me, you could pick either one.

I chose Price over Lundqvist on age alone. I'm assuming you're talking about a brand new expansion team or a very long rebuild (ahem, cough, Leafs, cough*)......
