So, i lucked out last night and got some sweet row 14 lower bowl club seats last night, on the blueline, from a supplier of mine, and boy was i impressed with that game! For a game that a lot of people were thinking might be like their first meeting this year (a snooze fest), it was anything but! Canucks fans had to like what they saw as it was one of the teams best and most complete games this year. Schneider was solid, though he didn't have to be anything better than average on a night that he wasn't tested all that much, the D played extremely well, especially considering Bieksa and Tanev's absence. Youngster Frank Corrado looked unbelievably good in his first game in the NHL. He was calm, played a simple game, threw a few hits, etc and was as poised as a 10yr veteren! Even in interviews before and after the game, the kid was looking like he'd been there before! Sure, just one game, but he looked more than capable of stepping in if / when needed! The Sedin's were in on two goals, the fourth line chipped in with some grittiness, Lapierre was at his agitating best, etc, etc.

This team looked SO GOOD, it's time to start planning the Stanley Cup Parade!!!

Ok, obviously i'm kidding, though i can't wait for those who hit "reply" before reading the start of this paragraph. lol

In a perfect world, the Canucks play like this and go a long ways this spring. However, we've seen how often this team puts great games like this together, and that's not very often!

Now, the question is, how many of you thought this was a "roast the Leafs and their fans" thread when you read the title of it???

To all faceless guests who regularly troll: please get a date and stop playing with yourself so much. You are obviously degenerate [ mod edit ] specialists and should be recognized legitimately.

There....fixed it up for ya!
