100% agreed - time and situation of a fantastic save mean everything, and I'd agree that within our lifetimes, Maclean's save is up near the top.

Just to correct my above post, the save was in the first OT period with Bure's winner coming in the double OT.

I guess we all have our favourites, and it depends heavily on which team you cheer for, of course, but let it be known that the Kirk McLean save was in double OT of a Game 7. If there is a better combination of spectacular save at a more pivotal moment, I haven't seen it.

That USED TO BE mine, and while this one isn't as nice all around, it still meant more to me. I just don't think I could have survived another defeat to Chi, especially after the lead we held!!! AND home ice advantage. AND, I was at the game!

It's funny what mark us as kids. That was a great save.

I, for one, remember this save really clearly and thought it was the greatest save of all time.
