Posted - 11/22/2013 : 11:33:00 Beat me to posting this. Was thinking about this last night when the commentators were talking about when he left for the KHL. Imagine the 2-3 years of stats he missed out on for the record books and he is still 9th all time for scoring. Read an article where he complimented Lemieux while taking a friendly jab at Howes record. He said Lemieux played in almost 600 less games to get that goal total, but Howe play 9 more seasons.
