hahaha! Just kidding Babs. I didn't realize that our teams were playing tonight (Flames/Sharks). A double or nothing would have been nice. (easy to say after I know the outcome eh!?)

7 goals on 23 shots. Yikes! Glad to see that Kipper is not the only one acting a little flakey lately. It was a big win for the Flames. They've been average of late, amongst divisional teams that are doing well (Van/Min)

I would find it hard to believe that he would QB the top PP unit, maybe the second. On the first unit, Matt Carle and Christian Ehrhoff usually man the points and the odd time they will throw Marleau out in either spot to QB it. I doubt that Rivet who was never a really offensive-minded D would trump those three onto the top unit.

I would like to see him QB the second unit with Vlasic. Pickles could learn a lot from Rivet and the quicker Vlasic can develop into a trusty defense, the better SJ's chances are of winning.

Babs, will Rivet QB the PP? I picked him up in my pool as my other defensemen are hurting right now.

He even scored in his first game!

Rivet will definately help out on the back end.

Ha, well I offered but either you didn't see it or you didn't see it in time...

San Jose was at the end of an 8-game road trip and I was hoping Toskala could have played to show the world who the better Finnish goalie is, but he's on the IR now, UGH. Despite this, it was an extremely great game to watch, as most Sharks games are. Especially after watching a Leafs game, it's amazing to see how much faster the Flames/Sharks are than the Leafs. Aside from Buffalo, I think they are the two fastest teams in the league.
