A fun introductory game...or something to do when you're bored. Post two things about yourself that others wouldn't be able to guess, and one thing that isn't true but sounds believable. Then you guess which one is incorrect. I'll start:

Which is wrong?
A. I met Alex Ovechkin at a Caps game and had him sign my 2006 Russian Olympic jersey
B. I've gotten lost inside the Capitol building before on a trip to DC
C. I have been within 10 feet of a shark while snorkeling on vacation

After a few guesses I'll tell you the answer, then someone else can go

You guys were right, I in fact did not meet Markus Naslund.

Habs get number 25 this year

Kipper for Lundqvist?

Im going to say B is wrong , Number C is funny it reminds me of when I asked Joe Thornton for a autograph and he looked at me and shaked his head. What a loser.

I say the second isn't true.

I would say the third statement is false

Why thanks PuckNuts, I really appreciate you not hearing about me before I joined

I can't blame you, I wasn't a very popular player. It was nice asking a question on me though thanks!

After playing in the NHL, it's hard to watch hockey games.

I bet B, too.

C). is false. Stajan's mom and my mom are close, and my grandmother and hers have been friends for along time so we are considered cousins.

I haven't been in the dressing room because only media and team personel are allowed in before and after games. That sucks.

I have not gotten the Leafs new jersey though. Good job LRP on getting it right though.
PainTrain Posted - 10/11/2007 : 20:20:11
If you're friends with Matt Stajan then how come you've never been INSIDE the dressing room?

I'm going with #1.

No Sacrifice , No Victory!
Leafs Rock Planet Posted - 10/11/2007 : 18:48:28
I dont get it. If you are only close friends with Matt Stajan's family, how does that make you his cousin. But anyways im gonna have to say C is the lie.
leafsfan_101 Posted - 10/11/2007 : 18:33:06
I could get this rolling again.

Which is incorrect??

A). My family is close friends with Matt Stajan's (we are considered cousins).
B). I have been outside the Leafs dressing rome, in the visitors dressing room and inside of a luxury suite at the ACC.

C). I have the Leafs new RBK jersey.

LOL Thanks

A is not correct.

Kashmire, you guessed it. I have not been to all 50 states, only 32. I actually did watch C-SPAN for 10 hours one time, I don't know how I did that. And the grizzly bear thing is true too--and what's creepy is that we saw it just after I finished talking about grisly (nice pun) bear attacks I had read about in a book.

So...you're up Kash.

Well guys, there are two weeks till the season starts, and we need some way to pass the time here on the forums, since most topics aren't getting much mileage. Hence, I am re-starting this game. I doubt it will get much mileage either, but I'm bored right now so here goes, lol...

Which is wrong?

1. I once spent 10 hours straight watching C-SPAN
2. I've been to every state in the US
3. I saw a grizzly bear 20 feet from my car at night in Yellowstone while on vacation

Yo IHC...you ever gonna answer this? lol
hithere311 Posted - 04/04/2007 : 12:13:34
I'll take #2, 'cause no one has picked it yet.
Mikhailova Posted - 04/03/2007 : 06:35:35
I'm pretty sure #1 is true, IHC

I'll say #3
Novie Posted - 04/03/2007 : 05:40:08
Might as well say #2

Go Sens

Tucker is a douche

If number 3 is true, that would be so cool!

Number 1

I HATE CROSBY Posted - 04/02/2007 : 20:12:15
OK, I'll jump on board :

1) I specialize in the study of partial differential equations
2) I played a round of golf with the "famous" Guy Boros( won the Greater Vancouver open...an old PGA tour event)
3) In the same shift, I robbed Gilbert Brule on a breakaway, then got tossed for for fighting with the opposing goalie

I HATE CROSBY

I don't think there was ever a player called Jaromir Jage so i'll say 2.

But anyways i guess 2. seriously.

Umm i can't think of any good ones so someone else go.
Mikhailova Posted - 03/27/2007 : 18:01:38
2 is correct. Although I did try to cut out some bones from the turkey, but I accidentally punctured the pan and juice flowed everywhere so my mom sorta told me to give it up, and I never brought them to school.

Yeah 3 is actually true...weird, but true. I have held a human brain in a jar, and it had been in that jar for 30 years too. Formaldehyde is a preservative but it's no longer used because it's toxic.
-oil-country- Posted - 03/27/2007 : 17:44:56
Haha that's funny...but gross, i'll say 2. even though it could've been easily done, I think you held a human brain in a jar. Unless of course you made up the in formaldehyde part because i don't know what that is. But i'll still go with 2.
Mikhailova Posted - 03/27/2007 : 17:40:17
Believe it or not, 1 is wrong. The teacher left the room to go do something quickly and that's when the kid ate it.
-oil-country- Posted - 03/27/2007 : 17:33:11
I'll go with 1. because i don't think many teachers would let a kid eat sheep brain.
Mikhailova Posted - 03/27/2007 : 17:30:59
I have nothing better to do right now so I thought I'd start this up again...

Which of these weird events from my science classes never happened?
1. I've seen a kid eat part of a preserved sheep brain
2. On Thanksgiving I removed some bones from the turkey and brought them into class the next day
3. I have held in my hands a jar containing half a human brain preserved in formaldehyde
