Three years is a long time away to be thinking of a starting goalie, if the Olympics were this year I would have to say it would be between Brodeur and Luongo...Fleury has a long way to go before he can take the place of Brodeur, and Luongo will more than likely be the next starter after Brodeur...

The best way to convince a fool that he is wrong is to let him have his own way...
Novie Posted - 03/29/2007 : 05:03:25
Brodeur will be 38...I certainly hope Wanye-Wayne is done picking his buddies for the team, regardless of age.

Whoever voted for Raycroft being the #1: Get your head checked

Luongo, Fleury, in that order

Go Sens
Crosby is God
Tucker is a douche

I say Luongo, Brodeur and Raycroft.

LEAFS RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULE!!!!!!
Saku Steen Posted - 03/29/2007 : 03:57:08
Brodeur will be if he can stay healthy. Luongo will be the backup.
Canucks Man Posted - 03/28/2007 : 23:23:28
Luongo for sure, he is just so amazing so unless he's injured he should be there

CANUCKS RULE!!!
PainTrain Posted - 03/28/2007 : 20:16:49
I say Luongo and then Fleury as the back up.
Brodeur Posted - 03/28/2007 : 19:34:16
Brodeur all the way! Whoohooo! Go Devils go!
Ddeathblade Posted - 03/28/2007 : 19:29:11
I think Luongo will get it, all the way. Second would be Brodeur, if he maintains his standards. Third would be Fleury. By then, he will have become a great goalie. Right now he's not too solid, but by then, he'll probably one of the league's best goalies.
Patchy Posted - 03/28/2007 : 19:17:09
We can't really tell for sure but I think Brodeur will still be able to shine, his days with team Canada aren't over. But Luongo will push him to keep the starting job.

I think it is Luongo, Brodeur, Fleury. Luongo is almost like Brodeur that is why I think Luongo would be top choice. Second Brodeur because he is amzing and won't be like a Hasek and he is not that old. Fleury is my third because he plays well and not off task.

Good poll Admin probably your best one(that I have voted in).

Oilers Rule!!!

My Picks were:

1:Roberto Luongo
2:Martian Brodeur
3:Fleury

Go Canucks

If he wants, he will be there. It will be his choice if he is still playing.

He might, however, pull one of those "classy" moves and let someone younger go in his place.

I agree with Babs Brodouer will be too old to start and Luongo would still be at his prime, and Fleury is also picking it up.

1. Luongo
2. Fleury

brodeur is gonna be to old in three years. its defently gonna be luongo. but ward and fluery are also good contenders
Beans15 Posted - 03/28/2007 : 17:49:42
I think if Brodeur remains timeless, they will rotate duties for the round robin and go with who ever is the hottest for the run for gold!
bablaboushka Posted - 03/28/2007 : 17:43:56
Barring injury, I don't think anyone will even come close to taking the starting job from Luongo. I think Brodeur might be too old by then, unless he pulls a Hasek and overstays his "hockey welcome".

I said Luongo and Fleury being the back up
