Hey is anybody else playing this game? It's at questforthecup.nhl.com and it's pretty cool, but I was hoping someone else also played because I've been missing the TV codes and I was hoping we could share codes .

------ADMIN EDIT--------
Please note that I moved this topic to the newly reated "COLLECTABLES" forum. Use this new forum to discuss anything collectable/tradable ie: Hockey cards, bobbleheads, jerseys, hockey gear etc. Thanks!

lpearl here
I was hovering in the top 10 when the game ended. I'm really hoping I finished there!
cfrbatt Posted - 06/12/2007 : 01:18:39
Looks like it ended today

would be nice if they let us know where we placed in this

Whoa sweet, it IS working! Guess it was just down yesterday.
bxgurl Posted - 06/10/2007 : 16:27:57
It just worked for me 10 minutes ago after not working for a few days.
Mikhailova Posted - 06/09/2007 : 13:11:48
They could've at least TOLD us when the game was going to end so I could've spent all my remaining cards.
Paulanator Posted - 06/08/2007 : 17:59:53
Now the site is down completely, with a 404 error page. What a bunch of crap. They could at least post the winners or top scores... the game was sorta fun, but could have been much better if there was some thought put into it.

Mikhailova Posted - 06/08/2007 : 09:15:10
It didn't end after game 5, it was still working yesterday.

Da rule from the official Rules Page
quote:
The potential winners will be notified via email approximately 5 business days after the conclusion of the Stanley Cup Final. For a resident of Canada to win any prize, he/she must first correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by email, mail or phone, as Sponsors determine. If the potential winner cannot be contacted and the skill-testing question administered, with answer returned, within 10 business days of the first attempted contact, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.

http://questforthecup.nhl.com/main_faq.asp?document=3

so it ended at the end of the third period game 5

Oh and I love this

quote:
WHAT IF THERE IS A TIE SCORE?
In the case of tie scores, winners will be determined by the following criteria, in the order listed:

1. The winner is the user with the highest score.
2. If there are two users with the exact same score, then the user with a higher % of the collection completed will win.
3. If they are still tied, then the player with the most logins wins.
4. If they are still tied, then the player who registered first wins.

damn and I only need some thing like 60,000 points to move into the lead

QFTC is still working, there just aren't TV codes anymore. Maybe it ends June 11, the original last day of the season.

does anyone else find it odd that both c21stand and canuck both dropped in the standings, its almostl ike they stopped playing or they both built thier leads by bying cards and spending them needlessly while others waited and held onto thier cards until the end hoping for higher value cards.

Thanks dgoosed1. There are people who still need cards and have an extra cup card but I guess they dont want to trade because of the point difference. I've spent 70,000 on cards already and still trying.
dgoosed1 Posted - 06/04/2007 : 12:56:03
cbusjackets wish i could help. i have 3 s cups but i also have all 65 cards and the system wont let me trade anymore. good luck the only way you will get it is to buy cards or hope someone isnt full and has an extra. try to9 trade and hope you come accross someone with a cand heart instead of all the gready ones out there. after all we will never get enough points to get any prizes now but it is still fun to play. again good luck & sorry i cant help

would love to trade with you but i cannot......but don't expect anyone to trade a 5000 point card for the next highest card at 800, even if you had 3 of them(card trade limit) alas the NHL learns again....what a dumb setup, they will learn next year or fire the headcase who thought up this setup

musings:

dont be suprised to an in the woods player win this all by blowing out all their coins on the last day (game 4, for u sens fans), if anything was learned, why spend your coins early??? ....wait till all of the cards are available

anyway my piece ....salute

Also, if anyone needs any card, and has a spare Stanley Cup (I know it's doubtful) please trade with me, Powerlord13!
