Will Ovechkin get 60 goals before someone else gets 50?

for sure! Ovechkin is on fire. My guess is he gets 60 and no one gets 50!

Ovechkin and Kovalchuk have the same amount of games to go, Ovechkin has 6 goals to get to 60 and Kovalchuk has 7 goals to get to 50, the odds are in Ovechkins favour.

CANUCKS RULE!!!

I say he has the most probability of getting to 60 before any1 hits 50 but .. some1 could score 5 goals tmro and turn the tables .. but I'd say yes he will

The ''other'' option was for those who think no one else will hit 50 / Ovie won't hit 60.

Now for my analysis. I believe Ovechkin is a) on fire and b) no one else is close. He is seven goals away from 60 while the ice cold Kovalchuk is 8 away from 50. The other option is the hot Malkin (13 away), average, as far as stars go, Iginla (40) and others whom I personally do not consider contenders for the next to hit 50.

I think other than the fact that Ovechkin is tearing up the South East, he finally has someone to work with, he finally has something to play for, and he is finally holding the lead coming in to the home stretch. The former is the means to get to 60 goals, the latter is his motivation. I would not be surprised if he netted one or a couple more tonight.

Thoughts?
