Im not sure if this is right word for word but i liked Brian Burke's saying last year "If you come looking for a square dance in our barn you'll find one". Instant classic.

Roy retorted with his now-famous line, "I can't really hear what Jeremy says, because I've got my two Stanley Cup rings plugging my ear."

Another absolute Gem.

That one was also great.

Im a big fan of JR but hearing that was just to good.

Roy really made Roenick eat his own words.

Even though I dont like him, Pronger has a great line when asked if he'll miss any time with an injury.

He reminds me of the wizard of Oz, where you comb his hair, put on a white shirt on and wheel him out in front of the camera and he’s gonna say whatever you guys want…clearly it’s a crusade of self promotion on his part at this point…you know, what goes around comes around in this league

-MacT responds to Burke's comments about Lowe 'running his team into the ground.'

I almost wet my pants I was laughing so hard when Mac T said this. Absolutely awesome!

That's funny now that I see the context.

Ahhh, yes, another one of the best. He really ticked off management with that one.

"Tonight we are the greatest hockey team in the world...their time, is done, its our time now...lets take it"

What an amazing speech that was, no wonder they beat em'

"You're playing worse every day and right now you're playing like the middle of next week."

I absolutely love that one...I didn't realize it was Brooks though.

A couple of my favourites are: (and I paraphrase here) "We were losing at home, we couldn't win on the road, my only shortcoming as a coach was that I couldn't think of anywhere else to play" I think that was Harry Neale.

And: "If you can't beat them in the alley, you can't beat them on the ice" and that was Conn Smythe, I believe.

There are so many good ones.

Actually I just read one of my favorite hockey related quotes right here on this site, by Andyhack, who wrote:

"Sincerely,

A guy who once totally lost interest in an otherwise stunning girl once he found out she was a Habs fan."

Great Line my personal favorite is basically " That hit was a joke, thats a definition of a joke right there, the knee on kneee with Jochen thats a joke, its a f**in joke, its a complete joke.
I tried my best to paraphrase it in to my own words but thats Lindy Ruff on Tuckers hit on Jochen Hecht.
