Posted - 05/31/2010 : 13:35:21 I would have to say that overall, I think Smyth is the best for "screening" the goalie. He must be the player that has scored with pretty much every part of his body.
Currently, though, I think that Byfuglien is the most effective, especially during these playoffs.
I still vote for Smyth, though. I wonder if anyone remembers when he played for Edmonton, and even his teammates admitted that Smyth had a "muffin" of a shot. That must have been the weirdest vote of confidence I have ever heard! In fact, you could almost say that Smyth can only score by screening the goalie. |
