Jonathan Chechoo won the Maurice Richard trophy in 2005-2006 (56 goals). Today, he's the worst in the +/- category of Worcester (AHL).

What happened to this guy?

This guy still has a great shot, I don't believe it was a lucky season, because he showed great skill. He most likely just lost awareness on the ice.

Yes he played with Joe Thornton the year he scored 56 goals, but Thornton was still there the next 3 years when his production dropped off.

And while yes doublechamp he never came close to matching that 56 goal season, he did have a number of other productive seasons in the NHL...28 goals in 03/04, 37 goals in 06/07 and 23 goals (in 69 games) in 07/08. But then he just dropped right off the map, only 12 goals in his last year in SJ, and down to 5 last year in Ottawa. The guy is still only 30, but his NHL days are behind him.

Dont forget that he used to play with Thornton and Marleau.
