This league has a team in Las Vegas. Isn't there something wrong with that?

Heck, I wouldn't go to Vegas to see a hockey game. Too far, and Nevada's a boring state, LOL

That is true, from a fiscal perspective Las Vegas would be a great spot for a hockey franchise. Of course, we could always add more teams in California. The population of California is bigger than the entire population of Canada, so they could sustain a ton of teams.

The reason I said Wisconsin is because the tickets would be both sold and used, because everyone up there loves hockey. Also it's closer to Canada so maybe some Canucks would come down to add to the ticket sales. Maybe Vegas AND Wisconsin...now that would rake in the cash.

I gotta think that if the casino's got involved with Comp tickets to hockey games, it would really never have a weak fan base. I know that most of us Canadians wouldn't go to Vegas to watch a Hockey Game, but say a guy from Mississippi gets hot at the craps table and the Casino throws him a set of gold tickets to a hockey game, he would go check it out.

Just because the team is good doesn't mean everyone there loves hockey. If you ask me, the next NHL franchise belongs in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Actually in the 4 years of existance (we are starting our 5th year) of the Las Vegas Wranglers, we have been in the playoffs 3 time, only missing out our second year. Last year we won the cup for best regular season record, and the year before we were one point behind Alaska who won that cup. Las Vegas is actually a hockey city. We have a NHL game played here every year that is a total sell out. Plus we are always in the top 10 in attendance in the league. So yea, hockey in Vegas works!!!!!!! Come check us out. GO WRANGLERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fan base is very good, and that helps support the new and upcomming players for the big leagues...

Why would there be anything wrong with that? I hear they actually get good crowds, and didnt they win the league last year?
