The NY Rangers have traded C Erik Christensen and a conditional 7th round pick in 2013 to the Minnesota Wild for Casey Wellman.

I've always liked Christensen, so I'm glad to see him traded so that he can get back on the ice as he's been a healthy scratch pretty much all season. He's a very talented player who can score (great in the shootout), but he's also very inconsistent.
