So, this Matt O'Connor kid is going to choose tomorrow (Saturday) between Vancouver, Edmonton, Ottawa and the Rangers? He's the goalie for Boston U (where Eichel played) and apparently went undrafted in his draft year (2010) but has shown signs of being a late bloomer possibly?
Personally I haven't seen much from him other than a highlight or two so hard to comment but anyone with any insight as to whether he's actually got a shot to succeed in the NHL? Is he the next J. Gustavson or does he have something that makes you think he could be a legit #1 somewhere someday?
Not sure why he'd choose Vancouver with Lack & Miller already both capable and Demko as a possible future? My guess is Edmonton as I think he's going to want to go somewhere where he's got a shot at starting soon.
