Philadelphia, PA, United States (NewsBahn) - The New York Rangers had their way with the Philadelphia Flyers Tuesday night, winning game 3 by a 4-1 margin.

The Blueshirts have a 2-1 series lead, while the Flyers are unsure who will tend their goal after Steve Mason replaced Ray Emery in the third period.

Mason played for the first time since suffering an upper-body injury in a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on April 12.

Cal Heeter was initially thought to be Emery's backup though Mason proved to be ready.

Flyers coach Craig Berube said he hasn't picked a starter for game 4 yet. No matter who tends goal, however, the Flyers are confident they will make it a long series.

"We'll be ready for Game 4," Claude Giroux told reporters following Tuesday night's loss. "We're going to tie up the series and go back to New York."
