Vancouver, BC, Canada (4E Sports) - Vancouver Canucks forward Jannik Hansen was reportedly fine after collapsing on the bench Saturday due to a hit by Calgary Flames defenseman Dennis Wideman .

"He was at the hospital, everything's checking out though, and I don't think there's going to a problem," said Canucks coach Willie Desjardins after their 3-2 overtime win at Rogers Arena.

Desjardins admitted it was concerning at the moment as Hansen couldn't seem to get his breath but everything has now been checked out at the hospital.

Wideman hit Hansen with a body check and the latter looked winded as he skated to the bench.

Hansen was able to walk to the Canucks dressing room with some help.
