Buffalo, NY, United States (4E Sports) - David Krejci and Patrice Bergeron scored to lead the Boston Bruins to a 2-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres Saturday at KeyBank Center.

Tuukka Rask stopped 35 shots as the Bruins (14-10-1) won their second straight game.

Evander Kane scored while Robin Lehner tallied 29 saves for the Sabres (9-10-5).

Krejci put the Bruins on the board with 5:50 remaining in the first period as he redirected defenseman Brandon Carlo's shot from the point for his fifth goal of the year.

With 2:50 left in the second, Sabres captain Brian Gionta scored but his goal was waived off as he kicked the puck into the net with his left skate.

Bergeron made it 2-0 at 7:44 of the third with a backhand shot for his fourth goal of the year.

The Sabres cut the lead on Kane's first goal of the season at 9:12. They had a late power-play opportunity with 6:29 remaining but failed to deliver the game-tying goal.
