Palat, Killorn tallies lift Lightning over Rangers, into Stanley Cup Finals

New York, NY, United States (4E Sports) - Ondrej Palat and Alex Killorn scored final period goals as the Tampa Bay Lightning blasted the New York Rangers, 2-0 Friday at Madison Square Garden in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Ben Bishop made 22 saves in the win that catapulted the Lightning to its second Stanley Cup Finals .The Lightning won the Cup in 2004.

Palat gave the Lightning a second goal with a snap shot from 15 feet at 11:17 of the third after Killorn's backhand at 1:54 of the third put them up 1-0.

The Rangers were unable to cash in on two power play goals in the second period.

Henrik Lundqvist finished with 23 saves for the Rangers.

The Chicago Blackhawks and the Anaheim Ducks will vie for the Western Conference title Saturday to determine the Lightning's opponent in the Finals.
