El Segundo, CA, United States (4E Sports) - The Los Angeles Kings have agreed with restricted free agent left-wing Dwight King to a three-year deal worth $5.85 million.

The new deal, King's second with the club, gives him a substantial increase to an annual salary of $1.95 million from his average of $750,000 the past two seasons.

The 6-foot-4, 230 pound King had eight points in 20 postseason game in the Kings' Stanley Cup conquest in 2012 and put up 11 points in 26 games en route to a second Cup title in 2014.

The 25-year-old Saskatchewan native had 30 points including 15 goals in 77 games last season.

With the deal, King and the ballclub avoided arbitration.
