Tampa, FL, United States (4E Sports) - Tyler Johnson scored two goals as the Tampa Bay Lightning blasted the Detroit Red Wings, 5-1 Saturday in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference series at Amalie Arena.

The 6-foot-7 Ben Bishop had 23 saves for the Lightning, who tied the series at 1-all.

Johnson beat goaltender Petr Mrazek to finish a flurry that included goals by Alex Killorn and Andrej Sustr to put the Lightning up 4-0 after two periods.

Red Wings' Tomas Tatar scored at 5:49 of the third to prevent a shutout.

Johnson scored just over 3 minutes into the game to give the Lightning its first lead of the series.

Mrazek stopped 14 of 18 shots in the first two periods for the Red Wings.

The best-of-seven series shifts to Detroit for Game 3 Tuesday.
