Toronto, ON, Canada (4E Sports) - Tim Leiweke will leave his post as president and CEO of Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment, the company announced.

MLSE said Leiweke will remain with the company until June 2015 or until a successor is appointed.

The 57-year-old Leiweke has been in the position since June 30, 2013. Before that, Leiweke was president and CEO of Anschutz Entertainment Group, which counted the Los Angeles Kings among its holdings.

Recently, MLSE has hired Brendan Shanahan as president, Kyle Dubas as assistant general manager and Brandon Pridham as assistant to the GM, while firing assistant GMs Dave Poulin and Claude Loiselle.
