The Senators never looked back in the third period outscoring the Coyotes 4-1.

Ottawa's Bobby Ryan started the scoring spree with a goal early in the third which was followed by another score from centerman Jean-Gabriel Pageau for a 5-1 advantage.

Coyotes centerman Sam Gagne scored the last goal for Arizona to trail by just three goals.

But Ottawa's Erik Karlsson and Mika Zibanejad scored the last two goals to ice the game.

Arizona had the edge with shots on the goal having 37 chances compared to 31 for Ottawa.

Senators goaltender Robin Lehner was happy getting his first win since December 13 and said, "It felt really good."
