Martin St. Louis shines as Rangers shoot down Flyers

Philadelphia, PA, United States (4E Sports) - Martin St. Louis had a goal and an assist to lead the New York Rangers in ripping the Philadelphia Flyers, 3-0 Friday at Wells Fargo Center.

St. Louis, a 12-time All-Star, became the sixth undrafted player to reach 1,000 career points.

Cam Talbot made 26 saves while Rick Nash and Dan Boyle also scored for the Rangers (10-8-4).

Derek Stepan assisted on all three goals.

Boyle's slap shot on a power play put the Rangers up 1-0 at 6:10 of the first period.

St. Louis scored on a rebound to push the Rangers lead to 2-0 at 4:04 of the second .

Then Stepan fired across to a wide-open Nash who finished a 3-on-1 at 5:30 into the third.

Steve Mason made 21 saves for the Flyers (8-11-3), which dropped to 1-6-1 in its last eight games while getting blanked for the third time in its last six.
