Fantasy Pick'Em Pool Contest
2018/19 Official Rules

1. The Game
The PickupHockey.com Fantasy Pick'Em Hockey Pool (the "Contest") is an on-line, timeframe, free game, designed to test one's own prognostication skills when it comes to predicting the performance of various hockey players on various teams. From all eligible entries received, winners will be determined based on their ability to use their skill and knowledge of hockey teams, players and related rules to accumulate the most Pool Points ("PP's") in accordance with the Scoring System as described below and these Official Rules. Each Contest will coincide with a specific time period during the 2018/19 NHL season. A total value of approximately $450 CAD in prizes is available to be won each Pick'Em Pool. See section 7 below for full details on Winners and Prizes.

2. Eligibility
The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada and the United States who have reached the age of majority in their respective province or state. The Contest is void in jurisdictions where prohibited by law or where licensing is required. Employees of PickupHockey.com, or any subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion or publicity agencies, or members of their immediate families, are not eligible to win. If you are ineligible for the contest, you may play the game and have your place noted in the standings; however you will not be eligible to win a prize.

3. How to Enter
To enter The PickupHockey.com Fantasy Pick'Em Hockey Pool you must register by correctly completing and submitting the on-line Entry Form -- hereafter named "Entry Form" -- at http://www.pickuphockey.com/PickEm_2019_Playoffs. There is no cost per entry however there is a limit of a MAXIMUM OF NINE (9) ENTRIES PER HOUSEHOLD AND THREE (3) ENTRIES PER EMAIL ADDRESS. Online entries are accepted at any time between April 8, 2019 and April 10, 2019 at 2:59pm PST to be eligible. Of eligible entries you can change your selection up to Apr 10, 2019 at 3:29pm PST.

Upon registering you will select a user name and password. Please make a note of your username and password ("Login ID") so you can return to the web site to log in and submit selections, view standings, rules and prize information.

4. How to Play
The objective of The PickupHockey.com Fantasy Pick'Em Hockey Pool is to accumulate the most number of Pool Points (PP's) based upon the contest Scoring System (see Scoring System below) and in accordance with these Official Rules.

YOU MUST SELECT ONE AND ONLY ONE PLAYER FROM EACH OF THE PICK GROUPS. *If a player is injured before or during the pool, you can swap him out before the 'Picklist cut-off' time. He can not be swapped out after the 'Picklist cut-off' time. If at the discretion of PickupHockey.com we decide to change players within the grouping options without notice it is your responsibility to ensure you are up to date with those changes. You are responsible for managing your team up to the cut off.

5. Scoring System
Player Scoring is as follows:
Forwards: Goals = 1 Pool Point, Assists = 1 Pool Point
Defense: Goals = 1 Pool Point, Assists = 1 Pool Point
Penalties: Penalty Minute (PIM) = 0.5 Pool Points
Goalies: All Wins = 2 Pool Points, Shutout = 1 Additional Pool Point

6. Standings and Updates
Contest standings are updated daily on the web site at: www.pickuphockey.com/PickEm_2019_Playoffs. The web site will include player and entrant point totals. All statistics are updated daily, seven days a week.

IMPORTANT: Standings are UNOFFICIAL for one week following the conclusion of each contest. In the event there is a discrepancy please notify PickupHockey.com within the one week Unofficial Standings Period, otherwise the standings will become final and official.

7. Winners and Prizes
The entrant with the most Pool Points (PP's) accumulated during the given monthly contest will be the potential winner of the Grand Prize of a jersey from the NHL team of their choice. The second place team will win a hockey video game for Xbox or Playstation. The third place team will win an exclusive PickupHockey.com t-shirt.

Ties: Pool teams may end up with the same number of points at the end of the contest. In case of a tie the following rules will apply:
- Between the pool teams that are tied, the pool team with the most goals will prevail.
- If it is still tied, the pool team that has the most PIM's will prevail.
- If it is still tied, the pool team that has the most goalie wins will prevail.
- In the event that winners are still tied (or they have chosen the same roster) the prizes will be divided between the tied entrants at PickupHockey.com's discretion.

8. Your email address
In order to claim your prize we will email you at the address you provided in your registration. You must keep your email up to date and we recommend setting us up as a 'safe sender' in your email program. We will not share your email address with anyone else or any other organization without your consent. It will be used only to notify you of pool prizes, as specified in your pool settings, and to keep you up to date with important pools announcements.

9. Terms and Conditions
The PickupHockey.com Fantasy Pick'Em Hockey Pool (the "Contest") is an on-line, free-to-enter contest designed to test one's own prognostication skills when it comes to predicting the performance of various hockey players on various teams. From all eligible entries received, winners will be determined based on their ability to use their skill and knowledge of hockey teams, players and related rules to accumulate the most Pool Points ("PPs") in accordance with the Scoring System.

All entry forms become the property of PickupHockey.com and Netgenetix Media Inc. In any dispute, the decisions of PickupHockey.com and Netgenetix Media Inc. will be final and binding on all parties. PickupHockey.com and Netgenetix Media Inc. and the persons and companies affiliated with this contest, their employees, representatives or agents will not be responsible for human, computer or equipment error, or lost, late, or misdirected entry forms.

All potential prize winners will be posted on-line on the Monday following the contest end date. All potential prize winners are unofficial for a one week period after this date. In the event there is a discrepancy please notify Pickuphockey.com at the following e-mail address: support@pickuphockey.com within the one week period, otherwise the standings and prize winners will be declared final and official. All taxes and any expenses not indicated herein are the sole responsibility of the winners. Entrants must notify the Contest Administrator of any address change via the web site. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable in any other service and must be accepted as awarded.

PickupHockey.com and Netgenetix.com Media Inc. reserve the right to unilaterally disqualify entries. PickupHockey.com and Netgenetix.com Media Inc. reserve the right to modify contest rules at any time. PickupHockey.com and Netgenetix.com Media Inc., reserve the right to cancel the contest at any time, without liability. Potential prize winners will be contacted within 10 days of the conclusion of The PickupHockey.com Fantasy Pick'Em Hockey Pool. Potential prize winners must send a return email (or regular mail) within 10 days in order to collect their prize. Upon acceptance of the prize the winner consents for PickupHockey.com to the use of his/her name and picture for promotional purposes related to this contest. Winners release PickupHockey.com, Netgenetix.com Media Inc., and others involved, its advertisers, suppliers and other companies affiliated with this contest, from all liability for all damages or personal injuries in connection with the winner's use of the prize goods and services. By entering the contest you acknowledge agreement of the contest rules. Chances of winning are dependent upon the skill used in selecting your team and the total number of entries received.

This site is created and controlled by Netgenetix.com Media Inc. in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. As such, the laws of the Province of British Columbia, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, shall govern these disclaimers, terms and conditions, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Netgenetix.com Media Inc. reserves the right to make changes to its site and these disclaimers, terms and conditions at any time.
