I made a split trade on Dec 7 by dropping Alexander Semin and picking up James Van Riemsdyk.

The problem is Semin was considered a power forward so included his PIM. After the trade though Van Riemsdyk didn't have the (P) designation and so wasn't counting his PIM and he's since picked up a 2 min minor.

Normally when I make a swap the new player keeps the designation from the old player (drop an enforcer and new player becomes the enforcer etc....) Why didn't it happen this time?

What would be the easiest way to add the power forward status back in so his penalty is included in his point total?
