Poll Question:
Is Martin Brodeur the worst no.1 goaltender in the nhl as of today ?

He's on a horrible streak. Although the Devils always lead by far in shots on goal against their opponents, Brodeur finds a way to make them lose. Horrible goaltending.

I think Bryz might give him a run for his money... that being said, Brodeur has not had the best year, and certainly his age has caught up with him somewhat... but he's an unorthodox goalie, so you get what you get with him.

As a poolie, I won't touch him - on games that he loses he has horrible SV%'s due to the low shot volume.

Umm Brodeur has12 wins 2 assists and goal, he is by far the best offensive goalie he also has a 2.16 GAA which for reference holtby has 2.56 but more wins and 4 shutouts but also more games played. so it could just be that the Devils as a whole are crap, look at elias and kovalchuck who dropped off almost entirely midseason.

As of today: I would say Price by a huge margin. Maybe you missed the last 5 or 6 games he played. Or maybe it's all the team's fault...

For Brodeur, maybe he should consider a #2 role in NJ for a year or two to end his beautiful career. Not to back up Hedberg, but a young talented goalie who need advice, guidance and support from a good veteran. It would be a good fit.

Was Brodeur not injured for a large part of this season?
