The canucks, a team finishing tenth last year, so far in the preseason are a 6-0-0, a perfect record. so is this just huge amounts of luck, or is it actually that the Canucks will go all the way this year?

Don't really think the pre-season is a very good indicator of how the rest of the year will go, but if I had to choose one of your options, I would definitely have to go with the 'luck' thing.

The Oil WILL make the playoffs in 2009.

good luck to us in the opening game against Calgary on Thursday. Let's hope we haven't scored all the goals on Calgary we're going to get before the season even starts.

I obviously hope this is the year but i am with oilinontario in the fact that I don't put a whole lot in what happens in the preseason, but it was a nice run and i hope it continues through the regular season.
