Fitzgerald Cecilio - 4E Sports Reporter

Winnipeg, MB, Canada (4E Sports) - Goaltender Cam Talbot tallied his first shutout of the season with 31 saves to lead the Edmonton Oilers to a 3-0 win over the Winnipeg Jets in Sunday's Heritage Classic at Investors Group Field.

Mark Letestu , Darnell Nurse and Zack Kassian all scored in the second period as the Oilers improved to 5-1-0.

Connor Hellebuyck finished with 29 saves in a losing effort for the Jets, who slipped to 2-3-0.

The game was delayed for 1 hour and 45 minutes because NHL officials determined it was too sunny, which could have put the players' safety at risk.

Letestu put the Oilers on the board with his second goal of the season before Darnell Nurse made it a 2-0 game on a two-on-one with Connor McDavid . Kassian capped scoring at 17:16.
