Anaheim, CA, United States (4E Sports) - The Anaheim Ducks signed forward Devante Smith-Pelly to a two-year deal that is reportedly worth $1.6 million with an annual salary-cap charge of $800,000.

The Ducks inked restricted free agent Smith-Pelly after his stellar performance in last year's Stanley Cup playoffs with the team.

The 22-year-old contributed five goals in 12 games for the Ducks' playoff run last season.

Smith-Pelly had two goals and 10 points playing 19 regular-season games in his stint with the Ducks

In the AHL, he played 55 games for the Norfolk Admirals and had 27 goals and 43 points.

He has nine goals and 23 points in a total of 75 regular-season games played, according to NHL.

"I'm relieved to get it done. It's a long process, but I knew something would get done before camp," Smith-Pelly stated.

Smith-Pelly was the 42nd overall pick by the Ducks in the 2010 NHL Draft.
