Ottawa, BC, Canada (4E Sports) - The Ottawa Senators will pay tribute to Cpl. Nathan Cirillo who was killed in Wednesday's shooting at the War Memorial when they host the New Jersey Devils Saturday.

A moment of silence will take place before the game to honor Cirillo and fans are encouraged to wear red.

According to ESPN, the Senators are planning a special anthem presentation with the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Montreal Canadiens.

"We are very pleased to join forces with the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs in coordinating a unique and special tribute prior our game on Saturday," Senators owner Eugene Melnyk stated.

Both teams will also play at home Saturday with the Maple Leafs taking on the Boston Bruins, while the Canadiens will face the New York Rangers.

The Senators will also have heightened security measures for fans.

"We'll be more vigilant. We have to be aware of what's going on around and us and people coming to the building," Senators president Cyril Leeder stated.

Bags will be opened for checking but this time it will be done with a metal detector and police visibility can be expected, though Leeder did not give full details.
