Jets forward Adam Lowry gets one game ban for boarding

New York, NY, United States (4E Sports) - Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry has been suspended one game without pay for boarding Buffalo Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta in their 2-1 win, Wednesday.

This was announced by the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety.

The incident occurred at 14:06 of the second period, resulting in a five-minute major and a game misconduct being slapped on Lowry during the match.

Based on his salary Lowry will forfeit $4,453.41, which goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
