Corey Perry connects in shootout as Ducks edge Canucks

Vancouver, BC, Canada (4E Sports) - Corey Perry connected on a shootout to propel the Anaheim Ducks over the Vancouver Canucks, 4-3 Thursday at Rogers Arena.

A wide-open Andrew Cogliano tucked in a loose puck after it caromed off skates, 37 seconds into the game to give the Ducks the lead.

Ryan Getzlaf put the Ducks up 2-0 at 13:10 of the first when he roofed a backhand.

Bo Horvat scored from the slot off Derek Dorsett's backhand pass at 3:08 of the second to cut the Canucks deficit to 2-1.

Bu tJannik Hansen tied the game with a slap shot at 11:18 and Radim Vrbata grabbed the lead for the Canucks with a backhand 30 seconds later

Matt Beleskey made it 3-3 at 11:52 of the third when he scored off a scramble to bring the game to a shoot out.
