Ya I dont get how Semin isnt on that list and Wash. only has 3 players but they have 4 from Toronto (giguere, phaneuf, kaberle, kessel)????? But Toronto is the center of the world so maybe it makes sense. But the worst on that list is Vanek I guess |

The all star game is not entirely about skill. It is about impressing the fans. They wanna put on a show for the fans, so they don't entirely pick the best players, they pick players appealing to the skills for the skills comp. Shea weber may be the worst player in the NHL, but would still go to the all star game becuase of his shot. I am not saying that's true, but the all star GAME is just a small portion of the all star weekend. They are all picked for a reason. |

Ya semin isn't there and umberger and hamhuis are there. Not sure why you put vanek on that list, he's pretty pro.
