The Colorado Avalanche have traded Scott Hannan to Washington for Thomas Fleischmann.

Kind of a low key trade but what are your thoughts?!

Rumours of a Bieksa for Fleishmann deal are obviously done now? Been a fair bit of talk about that deal happening around here.

This along with the Hunwick acquisition gives an offensive boost tothe injury plagued Avalanche lineup. Replacing Hannan with Hunwick is a bit of a downgrade, but is younger and makes room for Fleischmann.

Fleischmann has a lot of speed and can finish, which should allow him to excel in Colorado. Maybe he and fellow Czech, Hejduk, will be on a line.

I think it's good for both teams, better for the aves especially with Stewart out.
