After 18 years, and through eight different teams, and with multiple cup rings, mr. Guerin calls it quits !

Were gonna miss you Bill !!

Too bad to see another good player go.

Guerin was one of those guys who could score back in the days of obstruction.

2 cups 8 teams, pretty good career.

Wow – eight different teams for Bill Guerin! It was almost nine. The Flyers invited Guerin to their training camp earlier this year, but released him before the start of the season.

Guerin had a very good career, especially with his two cup wins, which were 14 years apart. He scored 20+ goals for seven different teams, and it could've been eight, except his stint with San Jose was too short. (He scored 8 goals in 16 games whilst there.)

Guerin earned over $50 million during his NHL career, highlighted by back-to-back seasons (2002-03 and 2003-04) where he made an incredible $8.8 million per season. This was just before the lock-out, and while players of his calibre make good money today, a player of his ilk would probably earn a few bucks less today.

Great player, great guy.

Bill was one of the all-time greats!

There was once a license plate in Toronto that abbreviated "Go Leafs" it read "Golfs".
