3 Selkies for one player. What a great two-way player.

Thought that's what you meant. I actually had to google Kozlov (both of them) to make sure they weren't there, all the while thinking, even if they were for a brief stint, certainly their departure wasn't the start of anything in Dallas!

Zubov was one heckuva dman for them. Pretty good NHLer throughout his career!

Very good player, and in the niche of serviceable defensive forward, he was awesome. Model of consistency as well, and a hard working guy who you'd have loved to have on your team.

The end of the era of those heady days in Dallas started with Kozlov retiring, then Modano leaving, and now Lehtinen.

Thing is, they have a few good young stars to build another contender around, so they may not have a very long wait to be back in the playoffs and winning rounds again soon.

That guy was like the Finnish version of Larionov, came in as an older player and utilized every last ounce of potential from his abilities til yje day he retired.

Cheers, to an Oiler killer
