Who are some or the top guys who have really stepped up for their team in this post season? Datsyuk Selanne Perry Cammalleri Miller who else has been really carrying their team through the first round?

And speaking of pools, i'm done! I'm still in 1st in one of them, but after losing all of my Flyers (Briere, Giroux, vans Riemsdyk, Hartnall, Carle) a couple nights ago...i have but a single active player, Dan Boyle. Somehow i don't see Boyle being enough! JVR also deserves praise for the way he stepped up his game in the playoffs. Look for a breakout next season similar to that of Girouxs this year.

Very glad to see Joel Ward doing so well for himself! He spent 4 years playing university hockey here on PEI for the UPEI Panthers! It was a long, long road to the NHL for him!!

As well as Bergenheim & Moore are doing i've got the two steals in my pool in the last two rds. Steve Downie & Teddy Purcell 12 & 11 points have been point machines on the lighting.

Sean Bergenheim - how many picked him in their pools? Every year there is someone that steps out of the woodwork to light it up in the playoffs, and he is this year's candidate.

Kesler has been fantastic all playoffs long, although now he's finally got some points to show for it. He's carrying the team right now. As well, the entire blueline is phenomenal right now, highlight Ehrhoff, Edler, Bieksa.

I took Horton and Krejci in my hockey pool from the Bruins, and I've been rewarded handsomely. They've been great for BOS, as has Marchand.

SJ - They're getting a lot of scoring from their top 2 lines. Assuming they meet VAN in the conference finals, thats going to be a tough series.

I'd say Sean Bergenheim's definitely an unsung hero for Tampa. He's currently tied for the playoff goal-scoring lead.

To stick with Tampa, Levacalier, St. Louis, and Downie have all been doing some great work.

Joe Thornton is doing some pretty good work with 2G (both game winners) and 7A, plus he's doing the "little things" like blocking shots.

Kesler is playing huge for the Canucks - 3 goals, 3 assists in his past two games and he's tied with Bieksa for the best +/- on the team.

Boyle. in last night's games the B's and Sharks scored a total of 11 goals. In all of that offensive output i managed to score a whole measley 3 pts!! no goals, all assists!
WTF!!!

Guest, you shoulda picked Krejci and Clowe! They've been wonders for me.

Joe Pavelski, Ryan Clowe, Aaron Asham, Malkin (when he's healthy), Antti Niemi, Marty St louis.

Duncan Keith has really turned it around in games 4 and 5. Doughty with the brilliant game 3. I'm not sure if I would put Selanne, Perry and Cammi up there yet. Price has been outstanding and if I were to put anyone on the Habs as doing well, it would be him.

maybe not anymore but when i posted this topic Cammalleri and Perry were leading the playoffs in points hence why i figured they must be mentioned,, and yes Keith has been a force for the last to games forgot about him!

How about young defensemen Marc Andre Gragnani leading the Sabres in scoring with 5 points & averaging 20+ minutes a night.. Gragnani only played 9 games this season, and only has 15 career games to his credit.

I had the priviledge of watching him play 4 seasons here for the PEI Rocket...glad to see him doing well for himself!

Not to mention Shea Weber who's at a point per game now and playing some great hockey. Unfortunately , Perry has probably been the best player so far in the post season. He's been an absoloute force with 8 points so far in only 4 games.

Neuvirth has done well for WSH. Asham has also done well for PIT - how many have him in their pools this year?
