I had to go to capgeek to get the size of the deal, it works out to 2.66M per season. A very good signing for CHI, it properly rewards a young goalie and allows him to earn his next (larger) deal if all goes well, and doesn't break the bank for CHI.
After Niemi last year, they clearly weren't going to let Crawford get away as well... |

Excellent signing for the Hawks-----Crawford could have easily been a Calder finalist this year except for the great crop of rookies in 2010-2011. Now let's firm up Patrick Sharp as he only has one year left. |
