Are you referring to the "flying V" ones? Cuz the hockey stick / rink / C is used frequently by them already. The flying V though? OMG, so embarrassing!!
Actually heard talk of them bringing that one back for one game around Halloween!!! |

I think they wore something like that on St. Patrick's day a few years back.
I don't know... Some teams have their colours, and it feels wrong to mess with that. Leafs without the blue and white, Canadiens without the red white and blue, or Boston without the black and yellow is kinda like putting team Canada in grey. There is no rule that says you can't, but it would still be wrong.

I really don't see any changes, why not change it up, didn't they have green jerseys in the 1920's, bring those ones back. |

I do like it. I am also a big fan of these old school uniforms, despite them having a new uniform for more revenue streaming each year.
My favourite is that Minnesota Wild one, as strange as that may sound . . . every other uniform of theirs looks a bit hokey, but that old school one - which is their official one now, I think? looks just awesome.
So what I am saying is, old school is often great, but not ALWAYS so.
For instance . . . let's never re-visit Vancouver's oldies, ok?

As far as Leafs jersey's go I think it is great. I'm a fan of the retro stuff generally speaking. Simple and classic. Love it. I like the lace at the neck. The Flames have that as well and I'm liking it. |
