Do you think this is deserving of a suspension? It's certainly a headshot. When will the message get through?

Very funny posting Alex!

On one hand, there was nothing dangerous about what this "fan" did to Lupul, but that "fan" is an idiot. Should he be kicked out for what he did? I think so, but I don't have a lot of patience for "fans" who cross the line.

It's not an exact comparison, but I remember when a "fan" (at an Oilers game) poured a drink on Flames assistant coach Guy Lapointe years ago. He was an idiot, and he crossed the line. I believe the "fan" was kicked out for not only this game, but for the rest of the season.

One last point. Most arenas "allow" fans to bang on the glass, but not at Rexall Place. I like that. I find "glass bangers" goofy and annoying. I have no problem with fans making noise, etc., but there's a line which fans should not cross. Don't throw things on the ice. And don't disrupt the action on the ice. If you want to be a factor on the ice, train to be a hockey player. If you're not good enough to be a factor on the ice, then stay in the stands, and play your limited role!
