I think it's a good thing that Goodenow stepped down. The timing is right and Saskin is ready. Waiting would only complicate things and send mixed messages. Let's face it, the players got a bad deal...I'm not saying they didn't get what they deserve...they were overpaid, but they definitely came up the loser in this CB. And to end up in a worse deal than was offered before the season was cancelled can't be a good thing. BUT...the players can't crap all over Goodenow either, he was the one that brought them the last 10 years of prosperity, as unrealistic as it was. Players salaries went from $270,000 average to 1.8 million just before the lockout!

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE HOCKEY POOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
