Anything on the rumour mill out east on this?
Yup that rumour floated around on the radio here for a while and still is, but now as an assistant which I don't know if Robinson would be interested in, but that was the guy i wanted for the full time gig,, maybe he will still come as an assistent and if Therrien doesn't have success Larry could take over, who knows,,,

Posted - 06/05/2012 : 18:08:49 uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i think i am dissapointed but to be honest their was noone that the habs were rumoured to be speaking with that i was excited about , i did not want Roy Crawford Hartley or Therrien, all the finalist for the job,,,
what i know of Therrien worries me, I know when he was in Pittsburgh the reason he was let go was because he was sitting back, playing a passive defensive style and not letting his big guns go, reminds me a little too much of Mr. Jacques Martin, the habs have a quick team and a relativly small team i do not believe this coaching style suits their Roster, that being said guys like Hitchcock have been able to adjust after loseing NHL jobs and adapting their defensive style to suit the new NHL and have success, hopefully Therrien has done something similar because if we are getteing the same Therrien as in pitts well the habs should have just stuck with Martin.....
