How is Briere or even Luongo on this list, they have not played half as much as the other guys! It is like putting Crosby on the list.

Habs get number 25 this year

HOw about Iginla or Vinny? Both r powerhouse players with no hesitation to drop gloves, put on a scoring clinic, change the pace of a game while getting great #'s and haveing long futures ahead of them by staying in top shape!

It has to be Nick Antropov, aka Nick The Stick. He became a Canadian citizen this past off season. LOL.

I gotta agree with Canucks Fan................Crosby is by far the best Canadian player right now......hands down!!

Joe Sakic no doubt. He'll end up in the Hall of Fame pretty soon.

Victory awaits him who has everything in order--luck, people call it. Defeat is certain for him who has neglected to take the necessary precautions in time; this is called bad luck.

Crosby isn't on the list because I think all these other players arre a lot better

what do Calgary and a tea bag have in common- they're both only good for one cup

Am I the only one hear who is amazed that the Art Ross Trophy winner is not on this list, Crosby is the best player in the league so in my eyes that makes him the best canadian player as well.

CANUCKS RULE!!!

I wouldn't say Thornton or Loungo are to bad either. Thornton turned the Sharks orginization around to a top team and Loungo got the canucks to the playoffs in the second round.

sakic and brodeur are amazing

I said Joe Thornton. When he came here to play the Avs, he was the best player on the Ice. I don't know if he was better than Sakic in his prime, but he was a great playmaker against the Avs.

Joe Sakic no question.....

It's gotta be Sakic. Like Mik said, tons of experience, trophies, cups, stats and skill all add up to one hell of a player

Anyway, I said Sakic. Tons of experience, solid player all around, great stats, played in several All-Star games, Cups, trophies...

i've made the same poll as someone without even knowing it before, like my calder trophy poll.

I think Joe Sakic is because he's pretty good offensively and defensively, there are some guys 'cough crosby cough' who are good offensively but are terrible defensively who a lot of people think are better.
