They lost Martin Biron y Conklin but they got thibault but they also lost Briere Drury and possibly vanek too. how is this team gonna come back? (unless they make some good trades and they still have vanek)

They will do fine, they still have a good coach and great depth. The offence will go down a little bit but who knows with a healthy Connolley for the full year and Afinogenov in his prime the Sabres should do fine.

They have Vanek remember they matched the offer.
Unlike the leafs, Buffalo was very deep on O before losing three high end players in Briere, Drury and Zubrus. The remaining offensive core is still solid, though they won't do as well as last year, they still will be a playoff team.
Offense: Afinegenov, Connolly, Roy, Pomminville, Vanek, Hetch, Gaustaud, Paille, Kotalik
Remember Biron was a back up. Miller is still there. Their defense is virtually unchanged. |
