Personally I don't blame Briere at all here. He made a split second decision to try to swat the puck away and it resulted in a crazy blooper of a goal.
I'm not sure how you judge a goal on a "stupid" level, but this is not the worst of the year by far. The Luongo one two are both worse, as is the Steen goal the other night where Giguere thought he'd caught the puck, only to have it drop to his feet where Steen swooped in and poked it by him!
