Posted - 01/06/2008 : 16:25:12 Yeah. Thornton does tend to pick up his game after the winter break.
But, I also feel Jagr will be picking it up greatly. And, he has a bit. :)

Posted - 12/31/2007 : 09:30:31 I would have to say after going to the Ranger game the other night and watching Jagr, it appears he is getting quite comfortable with his mates after losing Nylander. He might be ready to turn on the jets in the second half. He played well against the Habs as well. I think that Iginla/Huselius combo is pretty hot as well and does not appear to be slowing down much. |

Posted - 12/25/2007 : 06:45:20 Thornton will do his usual "70 points after christmas" thing and he will be in the running for the scoring title by the season's end.
Ellis or Mason?

I have those three in my pool as well. Anyway, I think Crosby will light it up like last year, he destroyed me in my hockey pool last year and I'm hoping he'll do me a favour and do the same to my poolmates this year |

It doesn't matter if it is Langkow, Tanguay, Huselius, Conroy, Lombardi, Nolan etc, this guy still puts up points! The other guys on this list need to have their special little linemates in order to produce. So if Iginla stays healthy he will take the race.
Forgive me if I am mistaken but I believe it was Iginla who specifically asked for langkow and huselius to be on his line. |

Posted - 12/24/2007 : 08:02:52 I'm gonna go with Joe Thornton, remember last year? Also, Cheechoo hasn't heated up this year and always does after the all-star game so in turn Thornton's totals will only get higher |

Posted - 12/24/2007 : 07:57:53 I'm going with either Spezza or Crosby, I think both are going to get around 75 more points. Simon Gangne could be a sleeper as he is projected to return at the beginning of January. I'm looking for both Kovalchuk and Zetterberg to slow down. |
